The market project in Samobor is conceived as an architectural bastion, with its interior forming an open central square—the "belly" of the city. This configuration creates a dialogue between the introverted nature of the functional upper-level market area, located along the perimeter, and the extroverted character of the market stalls, which manifest as a space for social interaction and spontaneous urban events. The square at the heart of the market is not just a meeting place but a dynamic stage for public activities, fairs, and cultural events, making the market an urban hub that transcends its primary function.
